Shane joined Freeman Holdings Group in February 2020 as the General Manager of Million Air Medford, based in Medford, Oregon. With over 24 years of service in the United States Air Force, he retired, holding the rank of Chief Master Sergeant.

Shane began his military career as an Aircraft Armament Specialist before retraining as an enlisted aviator. He primarily served as a KC-10A Instructor and evaluator Inflight Refueling Operator (Boom Operator) and a C-130 E/H Flight Engineer, achieving more than 3,800 mishap-free flight hours. Shane has held several leadership positions, most recently serving as Operations Group Superintendent for the 60th Operations Group at Travis AFB, California, and the 341st Operations Group at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. His deployment experiences include supporting NATO operations in Italy and multiple missions to Southwest Asia during Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and INHERENT RESOLVE.

Shane has completed numerous military education programs dedicated to professional development, including the AMC Chiefs Leadership Course, USAF Chiefs Leadership Course, and the Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Courses I and II. He also holds an associate’s degree in aviation operations and information systems management and a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from the University of Arizona. He is currently working towards his Master of Business Administration (MBA).
