Gil Thomas


Gil Thomas is the General Manager of Million Air Victorville at the Southern California Logistics Airport (KVCV). Million Air Victorville is located approximately an hour and a half northeast of Los Angeles and three hours southwest of Las Vegas. Victorville is strategically located on the I-15 interstate and is ideal for those wishing to avoid congestion and desiring quick-turn service. 

Gil comes to Million Air after serving 26 years in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management and has attended numerous Air Force and Joint leadership courses and academies.

Throughout his military career, he held positions in all facets of aircraft maintenance to include flying crew chief, transient alert, flight test and evaluation, training, safety, quality assurance, and production, supporting C-130E/H, C-12C/D, HC-130P/J, C-17A, C-5M aircraft. Gil also served as an airborne mission technician with the Defense Intelligence Agency, providing C-12 program management and standardization for United States embassies worldwide.

After retirement, Gil remained connected to his passion for aviation and the remarkable people who keep aircraft in the air. Prior to his promotion to General Manager at Million Air Victorville, he was the Line Service Manager at Million Air Honolulu.
