Thomas Hanley


The new General Manager for Million Air Orlando is Colonel Thomas W. Hanley, U.S. Army Retired.  Shortly after his retirement from the U.S. Army in 2020, Tom was the Executive Director of Seaborne Airlines and Silver Airways before joining Freeman Holdings Group.

During his 32 years of service, Tom enjoyed a career as an Infantryman in Mechanized, Light, and Airborne assignments, commanding or key leader positions at every level. His military career included combat tours in Afghanistan for 82d Airborne Division and 10th Mountain Division, Chief of Training Initiatives Plans and Programs for the Army National Guard for the Army G3, U.S. Training and Doctrine Command operations officer for The Army School System, Interagency Branch Chief for U.S. Central Command Operations Directorate, Security Cooperations Division Chief for U.S. Southern Command, and Senior National Guard Advisor to the Joint Readiness Training Center.

Tom’s senior assignments included advising the National Security Staff Small Group and Department of Defense level budget and programs.  He was commissioned an Army Officer at Georgia Military College, completed his bachelor’s degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and earned two Masters of Science in strategic studies and military strategy at American Military University and U.S. Army War College.

Tom Hanley is an aircraft owner, certified flight instructor, and airline management experienced commercial pilot.
