Scott Freeman, Chief Executive Officer, has been involved in various aspects of the Freeman Holdings Group portfolio of assets for over 20 years. After graduating from the University of Kansas in 1995 with a degree in Business Communications, Scott started his career in the aviation industry by assuming the General Manager position at the Company owned FBO, Million Air Kansas City, which was located at the Richard-Gebaur Airport.
After his initial employment in the FBO space, Scott went on to own, operate and develop a myriad of business enterprises within the Freeman Holdings Group portfolio in five primary areas: Aviation, Hospitality, Gaming, Real Estate Development & Post-Secondary Education. It is the diversity of those industries that Scott says helped shape his management style and provided him with the experience necessary to successfully lead the Freeman Holdings Group as its Chief Executive Officer.
Scott’s initial passion was aviation and that passion is alive and well today. Scott is closely involved with all aspects of the operations of the FBOs, traveling to each location on a regular basis. He works closely with the COO & CFO on everything from polices & procedures to monthly financial review calls with each FBO General Manager.
Scott also focuses on the development of new FBO locations by monitoring airports nationwide for potential market opportunities to grow the Freeman Holdings Group / Million Air network and Brand.
