Amanda Zundel


Amanda Zundel, General Manager of Million Air St. George, joined the Freeman Holdings team upon the acquisition of Above View Jet Center in St. George, Utah. Originally from Stockton, California, she enlisted in the United States Navy in 2003 as an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT). While enlisted, she completed two deployments to the Persian Gulf area of operations with Strike Fighter Squadron 87 (VFA-87) on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt. After completing her enlistment, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education at the University of Nevada, Reno, and was commissioned through Navy Officer Candidate School in 2015. 

After her commissioning, Amanda completed flight training in Pensacola, Florida and earned her Naval Flight Officer (NFO) wings in 2016. While serving her first tour with Patrol Squadron 46 (VP-46), she completed two deployments to the Persian Gulf, Mediterranean, and Pacific areas of operation. In between deployments, Amanda was instrumental in VP-46’s transition from the P-3C Orion to the P-8 Poseidon aircraft. While attached to the squadron, she qualified as Tactical Coordinator (TACCO), Instructor TACCO, and Mission Commander.  Amanda completed her Naval service assigned to Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing 10 (CPRW-10) as the Future Operations Officer where she successfully planned and coordinated all flight operations executed by eight subordinate squadrons.
