Larry Godden, General Manager of Million Air Moses Lake, came to Freeman Holdings of Washington via the acquisition of Air America, Inc. at the Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake, Washington. Larry was the president and CEO of Air America for over 26 years and made Moses Lake an important training base for Japan Airlines and their Boeing 747 training program. With Larry’s vast knowledge of the aviation industry and his deep involvement in the Moses Lake community, he was a key factor in the continued growth and success of the Freeman Holdings Group’s operation in Washington.
Larry has also consulted with clients (primarily Boeing and Fairchild AFB) to ascertain and define needs or problem areas and determine scope of investigation required to obtain solutions. Fairchild AFB will be closing its runway due to construction, at which point, Grant County International Airport will be the primary divert airport. This is possible only because the DESC has awarded the fueling contract to Million Air, and it currently operates and maintains a 3.2 million gallon in-ground and hydrant fuel system at Grant County International Airport.
